I chose this song because i absolutely love The Maine, and every lyric to this song just says summer to me. It reminds me of my summers and how they should be. Hanging out with friends and family everyday. How we are all still young and need to have fun while we can, and not worry about what is in the future, such as school and college and work and things we dont want to do but know we have to, summer should just be about forgetting all of that and just living in the moment and doing what makes you happy on those couple of months off. Whether its going to parties, having sleepovers with friends, going to concerts, shopping, family vacations, and so many more things that we all enjoy. Also its about how you have a great day, and then when its over you may be a little bumbed but you know that there is always all of the next day to start over again. Sleeping in late and staying up late, making new friends or hanging out with old ones and just being wreckless and living your life to the fullest.

That is summer, everyone know's it comes to an end, but there is always the next one to look forward to, and those fun times that you have with your friends are what really make your life what it is.

P.S. i would be honored to win this contest because to me music truly is life. For me my life and most of the things i do revolve around music. I listen to it everyday, i make my own music when i play my guitar and sing,and now with money being an issue for a lot of people it may be harder like it is for me to be able to go see those bands they love with their friends. I also can not drive yet so i dont have a job and gas and the ticket prices are what cause problems sometimes, i'd love to not have to ask my parents to buy me more tickets for all the concerts i want to go to, this would make my life the best ever, to find out bands i love and that inspire me and make me happy and help me deal with things are going to be playing by me, and just knowing that i can go and not have to worry about the money. I want to dedicate my life to music and hopfully have my band make it big so i can do what my idols do, and seeing them play live just makes me soooo happy and makes me want to keep going. =D the end! sorry its so long  =P
